WE DID IT !!!!!!!
At the end of session the Senate and Assembly presented a bill S7912/A10164 to the Governor, which he signed, that we believe will improve access to substance abuse treatment. We did not get everything that we wanted but we see this as a big step forward. This battle was fought by many. Special thanks to all that were a part of this battle in particular the families that came out in numbers and said "NO MORE" we refuse to allow this to continue. Kudos to you all!! Without the families, it is my belief this bill would not have passed.
